Manos: Hands of Fate

There was a fairly complex dream last night, but all that stuck with me was the "monster" from the dream. Basically, imagine you're doing some good old fashioned chromakey green-screen special effects. You're wearing a green long glove, you've a large tube around your forearm, five smaller cigar-tube sized tubes over your fingers, and you're spider-walking your (now extended) fingers along.

Swap out the large tube with a tree-trunk comparable to an oak, swap out the smaller tubes with tree-trunks comparable to birches, and overlay it over a forest background that lets one know that the trunks are about five times wider than the trees "ought" to be (so it's pretty easy for it to casually knock things over and crush folks). Obviously, the white birch parts aren't quite directly connected to the central oak part, but they're clearly all part of the same weird thing. I can't recall if the top of the oak part actually terminated or if it just continued up to either cloud-level or off-screen.

In other news, David Byrne and Brian Eno have whipped up another album, this time without a record label.
