The Pace that Kills

PCHC bloodwork info back!

LDL 115 mg/dL
HDL 52 mg/dL
Cholesterol 181 mg/dL
Triglyceride 72 mg/dL

Here's the American Heart Assn's breakdown of what the above mean.

Sodium 141 mmol/L
Potassium 4.1 mmol/L
Chloride 104 mmol/L
CO2 26 mmol/L
BUN 12 mg/dL
Creatinine 0.6 mg/dL
eGFR 151.6
Glucose 99 mg/dL
Calcium 9.2 mg/dL
AST 12 U/L
ALT 9 U/L
ALK PHOS 75 U/L
T. Bili 0.4 mg/dL
Albumin 4.5 g/dL
T. Protein 6.8 g/dL

The only thing not within standard parameters is the 'Creatinine', whose normal range is 0.7 to 1.3 (note, it's just 0.1 under the minimum, so it's no biggie).

So it's not cholesterol or any hardening of the arteries that's causing the weird fluttery pokey heart things and all. Hrm. I was half-hoping it'd be a cholesterol thing, since at least I can -do- things about that.

Oh! And there are now two homeopathic practices across the street (well, streets) from where I work. Nice news, but homeopathy isn't exactly a diagnostic practice, as far as I can tell. IE: Kind of useless until I can find out exactly what's causing the fluttery pokey stuff. I've heard tell from folks about hawthorn extract behind handy, though.
